Walk the beach in style with this smooth operator.

Walking has many benefits for both humans and dogs. While the Lowcountry is overflowing with awesome paths and trails, the ultimate dog strolling surface is the 12 miles of pristine beach on Hilton Head Island (before 10 a.m. or after 5 p.m., of course). If you’re in the market for a beach walking buddy, consider this quiet and calm bulldog mix temporarily living at the Hilton Head Humane Association. Duffie is searching for a new family, since his former owner couldn’t keep him. He is 8 years old and his favorite past time is eating treats.
Color: Tan and white
Age: 8 (around 55 in human years)
Likes: Eating treats, chasing tennis balls and Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister. “He’s the Emmy-winning star of the show for a reason. Every scene of Thrones gets 10 times better when he shows up.” — Duffie
Dislikes: When you’ve been “charging” your phone for an hour and realize it’s not plugged in. “Every damn time. I need to start listening for the ping.” — Duffie
Adopt him: Hilton Head Humane Association, hhhumane.org, 843-681-8686
