Job Description
This is an opportunity to build a strong client base, earn a good income and work in a fast-paced, multi-media environment with a group of committed, caring people.
Develop, maintain and grow advertisers in 3 media:
- LOCAL Biz, the Lowcountry’s only Business to Business publication
- LOCAL Life, an upscale lifestyle publication serving Hilton Head, Bluffton and Beaufort
- LOCAL Digital – A proprietary digital advertising solution
The ideal candidate must reside in the Lowcountry and should be energetic, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated with previous sales experience, ideally media sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client list in Hilton Head, Bluffton and the surrounding areas
- Visit existing clients on a regular basis building strong and lasting relationships
- Achieve and exceed targets
- Prospect and maintain existing clients
- Use CRM software to nurture and manage relationships
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience required
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Hilton Head, Bluffton and surrounding areas and local businesses
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer and telephone skills
- Independent self-starter willing to put in the effort to succeed
Required Experience
- Sales: 2 years+
- Knowledge of sales best practices
- Successful track record in sales environment
- Good verbal and written skills
- Strong computer and telephone skills
