Everything is better with bubbles, especially cocktails. Sodas, sparkling water, champagne, sparkling wine, prosecco and more all have that aerated carbonation that makes us say “Aah” after just one sip. But when you mix carbonated beverages into your favorite cocktails, you get that tingling sensation on another level. Here are two recipes guaranteed to make you feel refreshed and alive.


 Hilton Head Distillery – Old Cuban

Champagne is for celebrating, and this cocktail is worth its own celebration. Fresh mint, bubbly champagne, rum and lime make a drink so refreshing, you’ll think you’re vacationing in Cuba.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Hilton Head Distillery Solera Rum

1/2 ounce Hilton Head Distillery Panela Rum

3/4 ounce lime juice

3/4 ounce simple syrup

2 dashes of Angostura bitters

5-6 mint leaves

Champagne

Directions

[1] Muddle fresh mint leaves in a shaker tin. [2] Add ice and the remaining ingredients (except champagne) into the tin. Shake vigorously. [3] Strain into a coupe glass. Top with champagne and garnish with a mint leaf.


 Tito’s Handmade Vodka – Berry Sparkler

Cranberry makes a classic. Add a splash of Tito’s, top with some bubbles and toss in a few blueberries – now you’ve made our kind of cocktail. 

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Tito’s Handmade Vodka

3 ounces sparkling water

2 ounces cranberry juice

5 blueberries, for garnish

Directions

[1] Add Tito’s Handmade Vodka and cranberry juice to a glass with ice. [2] Slowly pour sparkling water for a layering effect. [3] Drop in blueberries for garnish.
