Insider FAQ
1. What is a LOCAL Life Insider?
It is an exclusive program that includes over $150 in value for $25 per year. For just $25, in addition to your monthly LOCAL Life magazine delivered to your mailbox, you will receive value-added promotions and free digital gifts and content only available to Insiders. (Promotions subject to change but at similar value)
2. How will I receive my Insider benefits?
- LOCAL Life Subscription – You will receive 12 issues as part of your annual subscription. You will receive your first copy the month after your registration if you register before the 10th of the month. If you register after the 10th of the month, your copy will arrive after the following month. For example, if you register on July 15th, your first copy will be the September issue. You will receive an email to remind you.
- Black Marlin and Moor Spa Hilton Head Gift Certificates – These are one-time use and will be mailed to your home address upon your registration. They will expire in 90 days from your registration date. These will be mailed to the address you provide for your subscription. Additional details can be found on each certificate.
- Seafood Festival and Hilton Head Symphony — When you register, you will receive an email with a one-time-use promo code. Save this email as we cannot resend promo codes. That promo code expires one year from your registration date unless noted otherwise.
- Digital Market Guide and Digital Recipe Book – You will receive a link to both guides by email when you register to become an Insider. These are PDF’s that you can view, save, download and print.
- Birthday Gift – You will receive an email with a link to sign up for a gift in your birthday month. Make sure to fill out the birthday form in order to be added to our birthday list.
3. I am already a subscriber. Can I become an Insider?
All current paid subscribers with more than 3 months remaining on their subscription are eligible to be grandfathered in as an Insider. Please email subscriptions@wearelocallife.com to request to become an Insider. At the time of your subscription expiration, you will need to renew your subscription as an Insider for just $25.
4. How do I receive LOCAL Life in the mail without becoming an Insider?
We do offer a magazine only subscription for just $20/yr (12 issues). You can purchase it here.
5. I subscribed to be a LOCAL Life Insider, but have not received my welcome email with the promo codes and other perks. What should I do?
Please allow for up to two weeks to receive your welcome email with your promo codes, guides, benefits and more. Make sure to check your spam folder to ensure you did not miss the email. If it has been two weeks and you still did not receive your email, please reach out to us at info@wearelocallife.com.
6. I subscribed to be a LOCAL Life Insider, but have not received my gift certificates in the mail. What should I do?
Please allow for up to two weeks to receive your gift certificates in the mail. They will be mailed to the address you signed up with for your subscription. If it has been two weeks and you still have not received the items in the mail, please reach out to us at info@wearelocallife.com.
