October’s Local Cocktail: The Stoney-Baynard Ruins
New Yorker fondness for cocktails goes as far as concocting the Manhattan, Long Island iced tea or the Brooklyn, to name a few. Many Lowcountry residents love a great, locally named cocktail as well. With that in mind, the team of mixologists at Rollers Beer, Wine & Spirits have created a series of cocktails that celebrate local landmarks, events and founding fathers. This month’s featured libation is The Stoney-Baynard Ruins. It may be haunted (a visitor once wrote on TripAdvisor about being followed by floating, glowing orbs), but even if not, this historic little gem hidden in Sea Pines is worth a visit…and a toast or two.
