Classic Margarita
Cactus Street Cantina
Few cocktails are as lasting as the margarita, and this version from Cactus Street Cantina gets every detail right. Fresh lime juice delivers bright acidity, agave nectar rounds out the tartness, and blanco tequila keeps the flavor crisp and refreshing. The coarse salt rim adds just enough savory contrast to make the citrus pop and every icy sip feel even more refreshing.
- 2 ounces Lunazul Blanco tequila or preferred blanco tequila
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 1 ounce agave nectar
- 2 ounces fresh lime juice
- Coarse salt for rim
Rim a glass with coarse salt.
Combine tequila, Cointreau, agave nectar and lime juice in a shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe or margarita glass and serve immediately.
